OLE TRUSTY

Crank over the metal, the dawn in my veins,  
No shadows can hold me, just freedom remains.  
Pedal pressed down, bags packed in the trunk,  
Find all four gears, feel the engine’s sweet thunk.  
Glowing brakes shining like a red August moon,  
Don’t wait up for me, babe, I’ll be home soon.  

  
I’m driving through the night, with the stars overhead,  
Life’s a wild ride, no fear, just tread.  
With my hands on the wheel, and my heart on fire,
