BORN AGAIN

Slipping tripping on the uphill slope every scrape a new beginning bruised and bloodied on my knees. I stand tall in the dark ,through troubled times I catch my spark. I pull ahead and make my way. I bring light to all thats dark there that I haven't figured out how to beat. That's a moment in time where life and death shall meet where the reaper and the stork make a choice on who to keep with true strength and condition A gift to turn in the Page A whole New Life, a new rendition The stork has won you claim your crown A chance to flip the upside down? A new mission God's throwing your way The road is clear so make your play steadfast and focused all new ropes now lay frayed, clean State slate there and after doubts in the shadows ambitions stayed rules wrote in stone. The path has now been laid, not knowing of the hurdles that rise in just distant light but knowing that those hurdles are to come and welcoming the fight I fold my hands and pray and thank God for this day for the extra time he's granted me to send evil on its way to guide and grip the hurting hands of other souls  in dismay to render future happiness of a soul that's broke today the mission on my mind a choice. The Lord has granted to be heard and carried with honor not to boast or to be ranted, greatness is a gift that is given from the Lord by the man who kept the sheath on his hip and never drew his sword 
When life seems to pass by remember time and age it's just the number. The one who shall bring the reaper and the stork side by side is not the end doesn't have to be your chosen number
